Generosity Coordinator - Little Rock

As Immerse Arkansas launches a comprehensive campaign and expands support for youth, we are looking for strong administrative and fundraising support to grow our overall fundraising efforts. We need a servant-hearted implementer who can anticipate needs, pay attention to details, build systems and interact with the public with kindness and gentleness.

Job DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Director of Generosity, the Generosity Coordinator will support the Central Arkansas fundraising, development and communications efforts in collaboration and alignment with the overall Immerse strategy. This is an on-site position with typical hours of 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. with occasional evenings and weekends. Primary duties will include:

  1. Development Support - Support the overall development strategy and campaign through supporting donors, providing admin support, managing back-end systems and donor acknowledgement.

  2. Administrative Support- Support the Director of Generosity through performing administrative duties, supporting the Little Rock office, and supporting the overall Central Arkansas development and fundraising efforts.

  3. Communications Support - Responsible for supporting overall communication efforts.

  4. Participation in Team and Personal Development - Continually seek opportunities for growth, understanding, and balance to maintain health, both individually and as a member of the Immerse Arkansas team. Promote teamwork through collaboration, support, and communication.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree with a preference in a communications or marketing-related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in a fundraising or development role.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent time management: ability to multi-task to solve issues.

  • Proven track record of fundraising and development efforts in a non-profit setting.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate both professionally and relationally in a manner which reflects Immerse values and branding.

  • Quick learner with ability to process and respond to feedback constructively.

  • Experience with working in Excel and fundraising databases is highly desirable.

  • Experience with the foster care system or working with youth in crisis is desirable.

  • Must demonstrate a commitment to the value of cultural competency.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Must be willing to work onsite as this is not a remote position.

  • Must successfully complete a background check and drug screen.

  • Must maintain current certification in CPR, First Aid, and other certifications as determined by the program.
