We believe supportive relationships with healthy adults are vital for transformation in the lives of youth from crisis.
Through our robust mentorship program every Immerse youth can connect with caring adults to walk alongside them, cheering them on every step of the way.

Learn more about becoming a mentor:
-
Immerse mentors walk alongside youth as they prepare for adulthood and pursue their dreams for the future. Mentors meet with youth weekly to connect, build friendship, offer guidance, and help youth develop new life skills–ranging from how to shop for and prepare a meal, to how to process difficult emotions. Whether they are shooting hoops outside the OC Youth Center, or sharing a meal at home, Immerse mentors dedicate one-on-one time to youth, providing the understanding, unconditional care we all need to heal, grow, and thrive.
-
Immerse mentors don’t need to be trauma experts or ‘have it all together.’ Our mentors just need a heart for youth in need, and a willingness to learn.
Immerse mentors are caring community members just like you who are passionate about seeing youth in need heal from past hurt, take steps toward adulthood, and pursue their dreams for the future.
-
While you are walking alongside our youth, we’ll be walking alongside you.
We’ll equip youth with all the tools and support you need to build healthy, lasting relationships with our youth. We provide trauma-informed training and ongoing support through our Mentor Coordinator, as well as thorough background checks to ensure the safety of our youth. Then, we match each youth with mentors who share similar backgrounds, interests, and goals to set you both up for meaningful connections.
