A Shelter for Youth Ages 18-24

on any given night in the little rock metro area, an estimated 1,000 young people ages 18-24 are homeless, couch surfing or living in exploitative situations.

Young adults who do not have a safe place to sleep at night are at risk of victimization, additional trauma and a life of chronic homelessness. 40% of youth who age out of foster care will experience homelessness by age 24 and youth who are homeless are 3 times as likely to attempt suicide.

Why a Youth Shelter?

We work with youth who have come from crisis, to make that season of life a launching pad, not a set back. Hear from our founder, Eric Gilmore, about how The Station fits into our wrap-around model to disrupt cycles of trauma and poverty in Arkansas.
