Youth in Arkansas are facing abuse, neglect and trauma every day.

At Immerse, we’re building a broad, reliable pathway to healing by surrounding youth from crisis with unconditional relationships, tools that anticipate their needs and dreams, and a vision for their restored future.

The transition to adulthood is already pretty challenging, but many of our youth are also experiencing…

Isolation (No community)

Mental health issues (PTSD, addiction, suicide)

Violent home lives

Unplanned pregnancy

In arkansas in 2024, 177 youth aged out of foster care. Roughly 355 youth ages 18+ were enrolled in extended foster care.

Abuse, neglect and trauma have wreaked havoc on the relationships, identity and resilience of youth from crisis, making their transition to adulthood extremely challenging.

On average, former fostser children require $300,000 in public assistance during their lifetimes. That means the 177 youth who aged out of foster care in Arkansas each year will cost taxpayers over $53 million dollars every year.

Transforming youth from crisis into overcomers.

Instead of trying to manage, rescue or fix youth in crisis, we serve youth best through the gift of unconditional, supportive and nurturing relationships, coupled with high expectations. It is the gift of belonging, the gift of being wanted and valued. At Immerse, we prioritize the person over the program. It’s messy and slow work, but it is the loving patience we all need.
