Overcomer Central
Building a Place of Belonging for Youth from Crisis
Overcomer Central or “The OC” is the main hub of Immerse Arkansas, serving as the base of operations for our outreach and transitional living teams. Here, youth can connect with coaches, access case management, enjoy a hot meal, take a shower, do laundry, attend life skills classes, utilize our computer lab and free wifi, receive referrals to shelter and health services, and access a variety of other supports. Last year, approximately 185 youth received help and support through The OC.
While we appreciate our space, it does not communicate the value we place on the life of each individual who walks through the doors. It is a 7,200sf warehouse in need of repair, and our goal is to make it a place of belonging, where youth can walk in and feel wanted, expected, and intentionally cared for. We want youth to see that we thought about them before they arrived, and we are prepared to help them.
To accomplish this goal, we have created a clear, two-phase plan to build-out and furnish The OC.

Buildout Funds
To complete the buildout and to furnish the entire building, it will cost $1.1M. Thanks to the generosity of Arkanalabs, Riggs Foundation, SCM Architects, Stanley E Fulton Family Foundation, and an anonymous donor, we have raised $450,000 of the buildout funds.
With your help, we can reach our goal of raising the remaining $650,000 to buildout and furnish The OC. For more information on how you can join us in creating a place of belonging for youth from crisis, please fill out the contact form below.
