Assessing & Creating a Plan

When youth enter our programs, we start by assessing for and meeting their immediate needs, and crafting a plan to help youth begin healing and working toward their goals.

Building a Circle of SUpport & Equipping with Tools

We partner with youth to build a circle of support, including coaches, mentors, therapists, and others who offer lasting, unconditional relationships. One-on-one coaching, life skills training, and employment and educational supports combine to equip youth with the tools they need to achieve their goals and dreams.

Working the plan & Measuring impact

With dedication and support, youth are transformed into Overcomers. We measure youth success in 4 key domains we call BASE goals:

  • Well-Being - are we improving the emotional, social, mental, and physical well-being of each youth?

  • At least 1 - is each youth connected to at least one caring adult through our mentoring program?

  • Safe & stable housing - are youth who exit our program exiting to a good place to live?

  • Earning potential - are youth improving their education and/or employability through our programs?

Over the past 4 years, we’ve tracked 100 youth through our programs who are experiencing success in these domains an average of 80% of the time. We’re shooting for 100%.
