Organization Unveils Phased Plan to Help Northwest Arkansas Young Adults Aging Out of Foster Care

April 24, 2025—Young adults who age out of the foster care system often struggle to find a job, stable housing, and safety. In Northwest Arkansas, 750 children and teens in the foster care system. 

According to Immerse Arkansas, a social services organization, 40% of all foster care children who age out of the system are homeless by 24-years old, one in three are lured into prostitution, and are three times more likely to commit suicide.
