Immerse Named Nonprofit Organization of 2023
Immerse Arkansas is honored to be recognized as the 2023 Nonprofit Organization of the Year, as announced at the 35th Annual Arkansas Business of the Year Awards. We count it a true privilege to be recognized among businesses and other organizations throughout Arkansas who are working to make a difference in the lives of others in our state.
This award is a considerable honor and represents the incredible work of the youth and families we work alongside, as well as our team, board, volunteers, mentors, and generous donors who make the critical work of Immerse possible.
Over the past 13 years, we’ve come alongside over 1400 youth from crisis– from those aging out of foster care, navigating foster care and adoption, experiencing homelessness or human trafficking, and other traumas. The community has stepped in in big ways, and there is more work to be done!
In 2023, we look forward to breaking ground on Arkansas’ first shelter for youth from crisis ages 18-24, as well as expanding geographically through launching a second site.
Let’s continue to press on to build an expansive pathway to healing available to every youth from crisis in Arkansas.
