The Village Conference

  • South City Church 10710 Interstate 30 Little Rock, AR, 72209 United States (map)

A free half day conference for foster and adoptive families and their "village.'

As a foster or adoptive parent, you were most likely required to educate yourself on childhood trauma before you ever brought your child home. Once your child or children were home and interacting with your “village,” you probably wished your “village” knew what you know. This half day conference on September 7, 2019, is specifically designed to bridge that gap! Invite your extended family, friends, and members of your church, school and community who regularly interact with your children to join you to learn (or be reminded) about trauma and its effect on children and their behavior.

Our speaker, Robyn Gobbel, LCSW, RPT-S, is a psychotherapist specializing in adoption, attachment, and trauma. She is the founder of the Central Texas Attachment & Trauma Center. Robyn works with young children and their families, as well as adults. She is a speaker, trainer, and writer whose greatest superpower is being with people in a way that makes them feel seen, gotten, heard, and deeply cared for.

Lunch and CEUs will be provided.
